Needles in a Haystack

At the beginning of every winter, right around the same time that I begin to go into my annual hibernation mode, I go through a ritual were I assess my archives and throw away all of the dramatic underexposures, over-exposures, blinks, bad looks and out of focus imagery. To no surprise, in the process I always find a couple winners that got overlooked in the shuffle. It never ceases to amaze me how my perspective on what’s a strong image changes from year to year.  These images are the Needles in the Haystack.
